Well this is about the coolest model ever. The kiddos went bonkers with all the articulated motion of the model and the popstar figurine with fancy makeup and wild colored hair fits with their sense of being outstanding and different. Win on all fronts. The complexity of the model is perfect. They just love putting together the details. This thing is so cool I almost forgot I was a guy when I was building it with my daughter. Panels slide and windows flip - awesome !bought as a gift and sent to granddaughter. She said on upon receipt that it was what she wanted. Did not receive any negative feedbackLots of fun to build, really cool featuresLove itAs advertised, this is a vehicle--a pop star tour bus, which rolls on six wheels and has plenty of room to transport the included figurines and equipment. What makes this vehicle so awesome, though, is that the bus transforms into a concert stage by virtue of a sliding mechanism which opens and creates a stage, space for speaker stacks and Lego musicians. Very cool!My 8 year old girl did most of the construction on this one, with minimal help from dad. She loved it and so did I. Very creative and fun to assemble. My daughter will get many hours of delight out of this one.The Pop Star range of Lego Friends has been a lot better than the standard Lego Friends sets of recent years, and the Pop Star Bus is a great build for young Lego fans. My niece aged 7 took all weekend to build the bus and while it did require some help in certain places the end result was a great play set to either transport the Lego Friends or put on an impromptu roadside concert when the bus transforms to a mini stage. If there's one complaint its that of the three minifigures included two are yet again of Stephanie & Mia. I really wish the Lego Friends would follow the regular Legos and have 100's of different figures not just the same dozen figures again and again. I think my niece now has enough Mia's to start her own army! This new direction by Lego is loved by young children. Themed packs are less general and give a more specific target for the junior constructor. Because of the attractive final product it attracts attention to younger children - thus Lego maintains a fan base across all ages. Great marketing, but the product does not disappoint.I have been watching this item go up and down in price and was a little bit peeved when it had gone up almost £10 just before Black Friday. I held off and waited for it to come back down in price and then bought it.I know that the person I have bought it for will love it and spend Xmas morning wanting to build it.It is cheaper than some of the prices I have seen - crazy! This makes an amazing piece of lego. It's really clever. My daughter had it for her 8th birthday and needed help to build. It's definitely better for older children to build alone. But my daughter and I had fun building it together. And it's great to play with. It took a whole.... We built it over a couple of days. She built it, she got stuck, i helped, she carried on, she got stuck again, we completed it together type thing!!This was a Christmas gift for my daughter along with many other lego sets. It's currently on my dining room table being assembled. She loves building them and playing with them. It is however very small, the picture on the box makes you think it going to be much bigger than it actually is.
